How to Remove Applications From Facebook [GUIDE]

Facebook has loads and loads of applications, which are for different function mainly for entertainment and so others; conversely it’s not precise that you may be using all those applications mostly you have use of half or less than the applications you have installed, though it still provides complete access to your data. So in that view cleaning is good but if you don’t know how to do that then follow the below step by step guide to remove unnecessary applications from your facebook account:

 

How to remove facebook apps from your profile

Step#1: In the new interface of facebook if you want to remove the apps from your profile, tap on the Account drop down in the right hand corner and select the “Privacy Settings” option from the menu.

Step#2: Selecting the Privacy Settings will land you on a new page where you’ll have to click on “Edit your settings” link below Apps and Websites.

Step#3: There is a handy option to clean your profile from unwanted and spammy apps, named as “Remove unwanted and spammy apps”, click on the remove link to proceed

Step#4: Tap on the Close link adjacent to the name of the app you want to remove from your Facebook profile. You can remove multiple apps from this page.

How to remove facebook apps from the older version

Step#1: After logging into your facebook account, click on the Applications tab in the bottom left hand corner and click on “Edit Applications”.

Step#2: Clicking on the “Edit Options” will land you on a page where you’ll have to sort out the application you want to remove and click on the “x” sign in the right hand side. Then if you click on the “x” sign you’ll be asked to confirm whether you want to remove that chosen app or not so if you wish to remove it, then click on “Remove” button, and you’re done. Say bye to that application once you’ve clicked the remove button.
