Toshiba’s slim Honeycomb tablet unveiled before launch.

The Toshiba Thrive Honeycomb tablet that was analyzed in New York few months back, appeared to be quite amazing except for its looks and weight. It seems that Toshiba’s second attempt for an Android Honeycomb device is about to overcome its problem of appearance in terms of fashion. A few shots of an unannounced Toshiba tablet, is here for our readers which looks more promising than the earlier.
As the picture speaks itself that the veiled device is a 10″ tablet that is extremely thin and smart as compared to the Toshiba Thrive. The micro sized counterpart has replaced the full size connectivity and SD cards slots, to make the slate half as thick as the Thrive.

The backside of the device is painted with metal finish which brought its exit from the textured plastic of the Thrive and an effort to push the new slate into the empire of Apple iPad in terms of design.
The device is expected to be much faster than the Toshiba Thrive but there are no details about the specs of the tablet right now. The new slate is likely to be released in few days, with IFA 2011 kicks off in Berlin. Hopefully the strange and good looking Toshiba tablet will meet the fate of the Folio 100, which was released last year, at the IFA, but was cancelled later.
