How to root Kindle Fire running OS 6.2.1 or earlier

The software update 6.2.1 was pushed by Amazon this week. This update has successfully solved the issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity, navigation, piracy and Touchscreen.
This update also came with a devastating change: It destroyed all prior methods of root.
The developers conducted many tests and produced a method which is workable not only on the update 6.2.1 but on all versions of Kindle Fire.

Now you can easily root any Kindle Fire running OS 6.2.1 or earlier. Just follow the steps below but make sure that you have ADB up and running on your PC.
- First of all download jcase’s Kindle Fire root app.
- Run the root app and click “Root.”
- Type “adb root” in the command mode of your PC.
- Download Superuser.
- Unzip Superuser.
- Now type the following code in the command prompt.
“adb remount
adb push su /system/xbin/su
adb shell chown 0.0 /system/xbin/su
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
adb install com.noshufou.android.su-1.apk
adb reboot”
That’s all! Now enjoy your newly rooted Kindle Fire.
Tip:
If you want to unroot your Kindle Fire, just tap the “Unroot” button in jcase’s Kindle Fire root app.
