Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Hybrid : Laptop with Two Brains
Lenovo has announced ThinkPad X1 Hybrid that is first ever laptop bearing two operating systems and two processors. X1 Hybrid acquires a number of remarkable features including:
- A new Gorilla-Glass 13.3 “super bright infinity” display,
- Up to 8GB of RAM
- USB 3.0
- 160GB of SSD storage
The two processors Intel Core i5 and Core i7 will definitely provide a better performance as two processors are simultaneously incorporated in a single machine and also you can switch in between two operating systems Windows 7 and Android OS just by clicking an icon on the Windows 7 desktop. The feature that attracted me the most is that during switching in between the operating systems you won’t lose what you are working on one of the operating systems.
As X1 Hybrid is a ‘business’ laptop so it requires a better performance for which it need a good battery life and also rapid battery charging time. For the need Lenovo has worked so hard to give you maximum battery life by providing a fanless “Instant Media Mode” promising to double the battery life to as much as ten hours.
We are trying our best to get the date that when it is going to hit the market but as with the announcement of this unique laptop Lenovo has declared that it will go on sale in 2nd quarter of 2012 for $1,599 that is not too expensive I think!
