All of us are living inside the notification hell!
In the present era, there are number of ways of communication that would must involved in the day to day life of almost each an everybody, like Tweets, notifications, instant and text messages and the Facebook status updates (standing with the greatest count among all other notifications), all these together makes a notification hell in one’s life. These all prey on human desire for the dopamine mix. As though we are all over-caffeinated, the present era makes us extreme notified.
The worst part of it is that tweeting and checking emails is pretty much harder to give up as compared to that Cigarettes or alcohols, according to a study by Chicago University’s Booth Business School. No surprise since they all are attention gone skewed. I personally think that the dopamine fix is pretty much worse than that of nicotine.
You cannot imagine that what this multitasking is doing with our brains. We are sharing you a video by Chris Crutchfield who plays a realistic role being a mirror to our over-notified selves.
Chris says, “One day I got an email, an SMS, a phone call, a Facebook message and two tweets all within about 5 seconds of one another. This video is a re-manifestation of my brain’s interpretation of that event.”
Enjoy the video and do think about the shuffling of your brain due to involvement in this notification hell.
