Feb 11 Rumor: Google reportedly making HUD glasses

It is being in knowledge through rumors that Google is striving over a pair of sci-fi heads-up display (HUD) glasses. These glasses are not been hinted for enhanced entertainment experience. Well now some more details are been uncovered for the prototype of “Google Goggles”.

The prototype of the Google HUD glasses is pretty different from the imaginations as it has been seen in entirely a new design and form. The heads-up display will be crafted in a way that it will dwell only on one eye of the user and it will not be transparent either whereas formerly the Google HUD Glasses were expected to come in the form of a typical pair of sunglasses having transparent screens.

Astoundingly the heads-up display will be equipped with a smaller front camera that will enable users to recognize objects in front and click images of low quality as well. Even more the camera is provided with a flash to take images with improve clarity in dark. Moreover the gadget is also outfitted with a microphone that is for voice inputs and headset for output of voice. The UI of the glasses is simply done by nodding or tilting your head.

Google HUD glasses are equipped with the specs of a generation old Android-based smartphone. The device will be integrated with a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU and having 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB built-in storage. Surprisingly it would also be stay connected to the web through either 4G/3G network or Wi-Fi. GPS, maps and other location-based functionalities that will further enhance the glasses.

Optimistically on wearing the HUD goggles a person can walk around anywhere with up-to-date information from Google’s location or analogous services.  Like if you are in search of a restaurant in NYC Street then the screen of HUD system will definitely help you to find out the path, all just because of Google Maps, Streetwise or others. Furthermore GPS, Wi-Fi and other connectivity features will give power to this astonishing feature.

But…we get no official words from Google on any such product! It is also been believe by some of the reviewers that it would just be an internal innovation at Google. May the company is not in a mood to publicize such product as it is not feeling any commercial purpose of the pair of HUD glasses.

Anyhow at the same time some other sources are expecting these HUD glasses as a reality which Google should publicize near in future. Maybe Google is thinking to unveil the glasses in the pilot program as it has formerly done it with the Cr-48 Chromebooks. Anyhow we can fumble around for heads-up display from Google Keeping our fingers crossed.
