VLC version 2.0 released: Brings presents to all platforms
Open source friend to all the Video codecs, VLC media player Version 2.0 has released, commencing along with a raft of new features across Mac OS, Windows and Unix versions. This is in knowledge of all that VideoLAN’s has brought the player kicking and shattering into this decade with an enhanced makeover. PC version will be integrated with a new 64-bit edition whereas Mac OS X users will be fascinated through new iTunes-esque look, playback for Blu-ray and Lion will perk up through a new native full screen mode.
Also there is a new subtitle manager and support for several videos inside RAR files. This is not all yet…also two more extra surprises including iOS version that will make return to the fold and development of an Android version that will be appearing in the change log. I am sure you must be eager to give first release a try. If you are in such mood then you can avail these files for your platform of choice through VideoLAN, VLC Change log .
Keep in mind that this is the release candidate version that’s why you won’t be able to update you present version. And also it seems that 64-bit Windows users will have to wait a little longer.
